THE START OF A NEW DAY, AND A NEW BLOG.
So, I've finally done it. I've officially created a blog of my own. While I love to write, and am constantly online (thanks to the wonderful world of iphones), I have actually refused to join the mass millions in the blogger world. Why? Well, let's just say I like my privacy (my business is MY business, your business is YOUR business, don't get it twisted!) and I have seen how people can either:
1. get addicted to reading and posting on blog sites (addiction aka unhealthy obsession to continue something that may not be healthy or beneficial) or
2. rely on these blogs for news & gossip (ugh, pathetic).
In my opinion, blogs have been outright misused and abused. Thanks to our fabulous freedom of speech and the wonderful worldwide web, anyone can say anything about anyone, regardless if there is an ounce of truth to it or not.... and guaranteed, SOMEONE out there is going to believe it. Like grammie always said, "believe half of what you see and NONE of what you hear", or in the case of internet blogs, what you READ.
So, if I am so anti-blogs, why start one for myself? Haha, good question. Part of my reasoning for creating my own blog is I want to have an outlet to speak my mind and voice my opinions to more than just my 351 facebook friends (with whom I actually DO know, thank you very much). I am not here to talk smack, gossip, or argue with other people's opinions. I am here to say what I feel, what I think, and what I believe. You may not like it, but it is what it is.
